The Rotary club of Dharmanagar was chartered on 22nd May 2005 with 35 members. Since then several projects have been undertaken for betterment of the Society.
1.Contruction of water tank at Town Kalibari, Dharmanagar for supply of drinking water for the devotees.
2 Construction of Water tank at Nayapara Kalibari. Dharmanagar for supply of drinking water for the devotees.
3.Construction of Traffic Point at Old Motor Stand.
4.The South Ganganagar Gram Panchayat is adopted by RC Dharmanagar and the members have been distributing summer & winter seeds among the villagers every season for their economic development till date.
5.Construction of Yatri Shed at Dharmanagar Auto Stand for the passengers.
6.Construction of Toilet Block at Dharmanagar Auto Stand for the passengers.
7.A Tailoring Institute was started by RC Dharmanagar and it is functioning till date. Hundreds of ladies were trained with guidance of an experienced instructor.
8.A hand washing station was installed at Nayapara H. S. School with the help of District Grant.
9. Eight pairs of Desk & Benches were distributed at Pranavananda Vidyamandir with the help of District Grant.
At present RC Dharmanagar has 31 members. Among them 15 Rotarians are PHF.
The members have contributed towards TRF $ 32706 till date.
